A webinar held on 3 March, 2025 attended by the renowned Professor, Dr. Saifur Rahman, Joseph Loring Professor, Virginia Tech University, USA as chief guest. The meeting was presided over by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque. Advisor and special envoy to the Chairman of BoT, MUST, Dr. Emadul Islam was present in the webinar. Md. Ashek-Al-Aziz, Associate Professor & Dean, Faculty of Engineering presented the keynote in the webinar. He discussed various aspects of the Faculty of Engineering. Prof. Dr. A F M Nazmus Sadat, Dean, Faculty of Science, Afroza Sultana, Assistant Professor, Md. Ashraful Alam, Assistant Professor, Kabirul Islam Hridoy, Lecturer and Mayurakshi Chowdhury, Lecturer were also present in the webinar. Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman provides valuable advice for the development of the institution. Dr. Emadul Islam proposed for naming the faculty/department in the name of Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman with reference to the early discussion with the Honorable Chairman, BoT, MUST. The webinar was ended by thanking Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman for his kind presence in the webinar by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the university.
