The Department of Business Administration at Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science & Technology (proposed) is commitment to create the excellent blend of integrated and practical knowledge and understanding of current business practices and guide the students in a sustainable approach to be global business graduates. This department offers 4-years BBA degree of 143 credit hours with 8 semesters focusing on Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum.

The vision of this Department is to be excellent in developing employability and entrepreneurship skills through business education. SHUST has been offering Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) under the Faculty of Business since its inception at own modern permanent campus. The Faculty of Business through its Department of Business Administration intends to guide and nurture the students by its trained teachers and professional personalities so that the students can acquire invaluable degrees from the department to cater the needs of qualified graduates in the corporate world. Specialized and interdisciplinary courses are designed to enhance leadership skills of students which will lead to a path of building future managers and operating effectively in a modern competitive growing and technologically advanced marketplace. The Department of Business Administration of SHUST has excellent academic atmosphere of prime research and training.

The curriculum of it shapes the analytical mind set and communication skills of the students focusing on the qualitative approach. The faculty members are highly trained and equipped with higher degrees from reputed universities at home and abroad with long experience of teaching at the university level. It also invites the distinguished corporate executives for the students to be introduced with different aspect of business and real life situation of corporate environment. The Department of Business Administration is concerned with continuous up gradation of its course structure in order to cope with the contemporary issues of business and global challenges of the world.
