Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of the Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science & Technology (proposed). Our department offers a four-year B.Sc. in EEE program. The program is spread over eight semesters with two semesters in a calendar year. The vision of the program is “to create skilled and competent professionals in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with high morals to meet the national and global needs through creative research and innovations”.
We are committed to encourage our students through various ways including collaborating with industry on research, building a pipeline of students with local and international engineering societies, holding conferences, seminars, workshops and connecting with alumni. We encourage our students to foster creativities and broad range of abilities in engineering knowledge.
The department has full time qualified Ph.D. teachers with foreign degree. The expertise ranges of our faculties broadly encompass numerous fields of EEE. Deep knowledge in various advanced fields of EEE enables us to meaningfully contribute to education, research, and industry. We are providing practical oriented education by our laboratory facilities. We have well equipped laboratories i.e. (i) Electrical Lab, (ii) Electronic Lab, (iii) Machine Lab, (iv) Communication Theory Lab, (v) Power System Lab, (vi) Switch Gear & Protection Lab, (vii) Control System Lab, (viii) Industrial & Power Electronics Lab, (ix) Microprocessor & Interfacing Lab, (x) Digital Signal Processing Lab, (xi) Physics Lab and (xii) Chemistry Lab.
