Dr. Momtaz Begum University has got the approval of its new name on 20th February, 2025. The office order (Memorial Number – 37.00.0000.078.99.009.17.83) is issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh. The official order is signed by Mst. Roksana Begum, Deputy Secretary, Private University – 1 Section of the Secondary and Higher Education Department, Ministry of Education, GoB. The university authority celebrated by hanging the new sign board with the name Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science & Technology. The honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque announced the news of the government’s approval among the faculty and administrative staff in the campus. Also, the honorable Vice-Chancellor thanked the Registrar office for their heart and soul effort for carrying out the official processing regarding this matter. All the staff are now in a position to serve the society in a smooth manner.
